Last night’s attempt on a Luffa…
I think I made the mistake of using a really soft clay for detailed work -in this case, Lu’s hair. With the clay being really soft, it was also really sticky. So any shape I tried to make, as soon as I pulled my finger away, the clay would snap and not retain its shape… Anyways, read somewhere if I put the clay in between some plastic wrap or paper for a few hours, it will drain out some of the plasticine and help make the clay stiffer. Not sure how well it will work, but I’ll find out when I give it a try later. Fingers crossed, knock on wood…
