White Rabbit Marichi

Fire Rabbit!

Dusting off the dust on the animation supplies. I haven’t touched this storyboard pad in years and find this. It must have been the last thing I was working on before I shut it all away… and now I have no idea where this storyboard was going. Maybe it was a second draft for Surprise Gifts…

5 more days till 4C.2! Admission is free! More info here.Today’s countdown entry is a single collaboration page with Alexandra Manuel! Her character at the keyboard is Elk while the other is my character Rina. The object of the exercise was to pair up with a fellow classmate and using their full figure character design, make a comic. The story of the comic, however, we were collaborating back at the beginning of the year when we were joking around about word bubbles (not word balloons) that somehow turned into fart bubbles…. and how dangerous it would be.To see more of Alexandra Manuel’s work visit sprucetree.deviantart.com!

Six more days till the 4C.2! By the way, admission to the comic conference is free! So come on down to the Camosun’s Lansdowne campus on Sunday, April 6th -top floor of the Young building from noon to 5.As for today’s countdown entry, it’s The First Piano Lesson edutainment comic! (If you read The Appreciation Flower on inkblazers, you might have already read this. But if not, you can read it here.) As a piano teacher, I thought that making a learning aid like this might help my students. It’s a little more thorough than how I would normally give my first lessons but many of the topics are what I try to enforce in the ongoing lessons. At any rate, enjoy! This comic will also be featured in the comic book that I’ll be selling at my table at the 4C.2!
