so… every now and then I like to draw something different… and something just tad bit creepy…

Trounce Alley is a really nice place. I’ll have to upload some pictures to compare the maquette and what it really looks like. There really isn’t a piano there, that was just for the maquette as a proposal idea for a sculpture assignment.

Another one I’m so glad I didn’t lose even just a remnant of documentation for this installation! I remember panicking the night before the crit, because I still wasn’t done, but somehow I was able to finish. aha

Ah, I’m so glad I still have photos of these. I thought I lost them for good. 8u8

Working with plexi was pretty interesting. It bends so… easily -when heated of course. lol orz

I guess this is really where I started making plushies and my own patterns… I tried really hard to make it as ugly as possible so I wouldn’t get attached and make a comment on trends/fads but… fail. epic fail. I still got attached… and I was surprise that other people liked them too. 8v8

Assignment in ceramics class. I swear this was suppose to be a character model but…. I guess it kind of is a self-portrait as much as I don’t want it to be.

Ah Rubens… I really enjoy his art with the way his figures are all… plump. lol But I also enjoy his sculptures as well. Hmm… it’d be nice to take some library books out of the old masters and just study away~

I was actually surprise that I enjoyed monoprint, and I guess that was because some of the drawing elements, or even painting, could be brought back compared to say…. lino-cut? But I guess there’s some element of drawing in lino-cut too…
